Lance Honored Hero for Light the Night

We are humbled to announce Lance has accepted Children’s Blood and Cancer Center @ Dell Children’s (CBCC) nomination to be an Honored Hero for the South Central Texas – Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Light the Night event this year. This is an important organization and we look forward to helping spread the word about this upcoming Light The Night event here in Austin. More to come.

From South Central Texas – Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS):

The Honored Hero Program is one of the most important aspects of Light The Night.  Honored Heroes are the reason why walkers join the cause—they serve as our inspiration. They are the inspiration walkers need to keep working on raising valuable funds in the fight against blood cancers.

Light The Night is an annual event that will be held in Austin at 5pm on November 18 at Circuit of the Americas.  The Walk brings friends, family, survivors and loved ones together to celebrate our fight against blood cancers.   The Walk is about 1 mile and is held in the evening so all walkers can carry illuminated lanterns to “Light The Night.”  Last year’s Walk in Austin raised over $825,000 in the fight against blood cancers. Our goal this year is to raise $925,000. Visit to register online.

Note: Light The Night events benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)
